Sebastian Devlin

Sebastian has over 15 years’ experience in family law, advising on all aspects of divorce and separation. He has worked on both sides of “big money” cases (either protecting or pursuing personal and business assets), many with an international dimension, as well as helping clients with the more sensitive aspects of family conflict, such as abuse and parental alienation.

Sebastian works tirelessly to achieve the best outcome for his clients, who have highlighted his ability to analyse complicated family dynamics and prioritise the key issues, his sensible and pragmatic advice, and above all his empathy.

Sebastian will always look for ways to reduce family conflict and avoid potentially costly court proceedings where possible, but he also has the experience to identify situations where litigation is the only realistic option.

BACKGROUND: 

Sebastian qualified as a solicitor in 2008 and spent more than a decade working at a London firm that specialised in advising high net worth clients. He has also lived and worked extensively abroad and is a fluent Russian speaker. He joins the Heringtons’ family team in March 2025.

OUTSIDE THE OFFICE:

Sebastian is passionate about music and film. He also enjoys watching and coaching cricket.
